Filip Helander and Steven Davis have both been ruled out of tomorrow evening's crunch Europa League clash with Young Boys.

The Rangers duo are confirmed casualties from Sunday's Betfred Cup final defeat to Celtic.

Manager Steven Gerrard revealed a foot injury will sideline Swede Helander.

Meanwhile Davis' issue is not believed to be too serious, albeit tomorrow is too soon.

The Ibrox boss also confirmed that, despite playing an hour in a bounce game for the Gers academy side, Jordan Jones is not available yet.

The Northern Irishman was stuck on crutches following a horror challenge he made on Celtic's Moritz Bauer back in September.

Gerrard said: "Helander won't be available, he had a scan on his foot today.

"Davis won't make tomorrow but won't be too far away.

"Jones isn't available for selection but played 60 minutes yesterday and is getting close.

"[George] Edmundson missed training today with an illness but should make it."
