Ex-Rangers striker Kris Boyd insists Alfredo Morelos deserved to be sent-off for goading Motherwell fans.
The Gers front man scored the second of his side's goals in their 2-0 victory at Fir Park and immediately rushed towards the opposition supporters.
His inflammatory gesture sparked a second yellow card from referee Don Robertson.
And Boyd questioned the Colombian star's mentality for his decision to goad fans rather than celebrate with his own punters.
Boyd told Sky Sports: "It's a yellow card and an offensive gesture, that's what it is.
"You can see it quite clearly, it's a yellow card and he deserves his red card.
"But, every single little thing Morelos does is highlighted.
"You can't do it, you've scored a goal. Go and celebrate it with your own fans, enjoy it.
"I don't know what goes through his head sometimes.
"There's no excuse for that one."
