Ex-Hibs striker Tam McManus has criticised The Green Brigade for their "attention seeking" banner blasting Celtic-daft Rod Stewart and the Tory party.
The Hoops ultras unfurled the banner during their team's win over the Hibees at Parkhead earlier today.
Rocker Stewart, 74, congratulated Prime Minister Boris Johnson on social media after his General Election win but Celtic fans didn't take too kindly to his comments and let the musician know.
What even is this? 🤦🏼♂️ Why not just go and support your team & watch a game of football? Cringeworthy attention seeking tripe. https://t.co/pVl84yt2Ef

"Tories Not Welcome. F*** off Rod" was the message, but former attacker McManus slammed the fan group over the "cringeworthy" banner.
Sharing a picture of the banner on social media, McManus said: "What even is this? Why not just go and support your team & watch a game of football?
"Cringeworthy attention seeking tripe."

His comments earned hundreds of likes and shares with some fans applauding McManus' stance.
Others had a different opinion.
One said: "A club open to all. Rod has done nothing but good for publicising Celtic."
Another added: "It's a football match, toe curling."
One commented: "Says you Tam. Surely this tweet is just the same."
A fourth said: "could say the same about you taking the effort to upload the picture?"
