Boli Bolingoli admits it was a relief to get minutes under his belt as Celtic beat Hibs 2-0 at Parkhead yesterday.

The Hoops sealed an important win to regain their lead at the top of the Premiership after Rangers had won earlier in the day.

It was left-back Bolingoli's first league game since October after a fairly lengthy time out with a hamstring injury.

The defender, 24, played away to Cluj in midweek but was pleased to be back to domestic duty.

"It was important to get 90 minutes into my legs," he told Celtic TV after the game.

"We played a good game as a team and had a lot of chances.

"We scored to make it 2-0 and kept the clean sheet at home, so that was important for us.

"We have to focus on the next game and hopefully we can finish 2019 with four wins from the last four games."
