HAD Rangers lost on Sunday it would certainly have made it more difficult, but far from impossible, to go on and win the league. The confidence they will take from that win is unbelievable.

The manager showed in his celebrations how important it was and all this talk about not liking his handshake and looking like he had won the league is a load of absolute nonsense.

Steven Gerrard was like every Rangers fan at the final whistle and he was entitled to show his emotion and then go and celebrate with his players and the supporters. That is the way it should be.

It is the first time we have beaten Celtic there for nine years so it was a huge win and the manager was quite right to celebrate in the way he did. Good on him.

That shows you the passion that he has for Rangers Football Club. He has just signed a new contract, he has ticked another box by beating Celtic away, and he is determined to bring success back to Ibrox.

I thought his reaction was fantastic and every single Rangers fan would have loved seeing the passion from the manager, his staff and his players at the final whistle.
