ROSS WILSON is confident everyone at Ibrox is pushing in the same direction to bring success back to Rangers sooner rather than later.

The Sporting Director has been in position since October after replacing Mark Allen.

And he is encouraged by the early signs alongside boss Steven Gerrard and his Light Blues staff.

Wilson said: “Steven and I were assessing the squad. Where we are now and where we can be when we consider the potential of the players and their value in a winning Rangers team.

“It’s odd when you consider the size of this club, but Rangers have come a long way in just a few short years. That has to be recognised.

“I have loads of things I want to do, but so too does Steven and the rest of the coaching staff. My role is to oversee all of that.

“Right now it feels as though everyone is pushing in the right direction. Everyone is driving towards the same goal.

“We are working together, we’re one club. Whether it’s our medical team or our Academy. That is important moving forward.”
