CELTIC signing target Patryk Klimala has admitted there is interest in him in Italy and Denmark - but stressed he only wants to join a club where he will be first choice striker.
The 21-year-old, who plays for Jagiellonia Bialystok in his native Poland, has attracted the attention of the Scottish champions with his performances in his homeland this season.
However, the 6ft centre forward, who is valued at £4 million by Jagiellonia, is keen to start every week if he moves abroad during the January transfer window.
Neil Lennon is keen to increase his options up front after spending much of the 2019/20 campaign with only one fully fit forward at his disposal. But it is doubtful that he could guarantee Klimala a place in his side ahead of Odsonne Edouard.
Asked about the clubs monitoring him, Klimala said: “From what I know, and I don’t know much, they were teams from Italy and Denmark. My manager is to call me only when there are specific offers on the table.
“I don’t know what will result, but the talks will definitely start in January. If someone wants me and it is a good option, I will go and fight.
“First of all, I don’t want to be the fourth choice, only the first. I want to develop, so I will also choose a league that will give me that.”
