Rangers youngster Zak Rudden is set to join Partick Thistle on a permanent deal.
The striker has spent a portion of this season on loan at Plymouth but has so far failed to light up League One having only scored three goals in 18 outings.
He is set to cut his loan deal short at Argyle, though, and will be allowed to move to Firhill.
Ryan Hardie’s loan move has put somewhat of an end to Rudden’s chances at Plymouth and Thistle have been alerted to his availability.
Meanwhile, it is understood that Thistle are also closing in on a loan deal for Ross County star Brian Graham.
The former Hibs striker, 32, has not managed to nail down a starting position at County and will join Kenny Miller - and Rudden - in the attacking ranks at Thistle.
The deal could be completed some time next week.
