GLEN Kamara has a list of important things to focus on in the coming months. His future with Rangers isn’t one of them.

The midfielder has been linked with a January move away from Ibrox. But with the Premiership title and Scottish Cup up for grabs, and a Europa League tie with Braga to come, before Euro 2020, Kamara is only concerning himself with on field events.

Kamara said: “I feel like I probably didn’t have much pressure coming in [from Dundee last January] and probably expectations weren’t as high. I felt like I could come in and be myself. I’m a Rangers player so until told otherwise that is my focus.

“Coming up to Scotland was definitely one of my best decisions. It was to get game-time under my belt in men’s football and it has worked out well. The manager hasn’t spoken to me about the speculation at all.

“It’s been great working with him because he was obviously a great midfielder. He has been really helpful.

“Obviously, we are trying to win the title back home. We are looking forward to that and it is definitely an exciting time to be a Rangers player.

“I also have the Euros coming up as well next summer. That is something new and exciting as well.

“It has been a big turnaround when I think back 12 months. I’m just pleased to be here and want to keep working hard.”
