Celtic new boy Patryk Klimala has told of his excitement to take to the pitch as a Hoops player after joining from Jagiellonii Białystok.

The striker, 21, signed a four-and-a-half-year deal at Parkhead after the club had himself watched on a number of occasions.

Wasting little time in endearing him to his new supporters, Klimala described Celtic as a massive club and admitted he can't wait to play in Glasgow.

Speaking to Celtic TV through his translator, Klimala said: "It's a big moment, I'm very excited and happy to be here at such a massive club. The past 24 hours have been quite intense, I was waiting for the decision to be finalised so I could finally come here.

"I felt the atmosphere at the stadium and it was amazing so I'm looking forward to playing here. It's a big moment for me and I'm very happy everything is finished and looking good."
