Celtic boss Neil Lennon has confirmed that Ismaila Soro is currently undergoing his medical at Parkhead.

The Ivorian midfielder is awaiting a visa to fly to the UK and complete his move from Israeli outfit Bnei Yehuda. And Lennon revealed the deal is all but done once the I's are dotted and T's crossed.

He said: "The paperwork on Soro is still ongoing. He's doing his medical at the minute which takes a day or two. Hopefully we can get him over here and get him cracking."

The Hoops manager also confirmed that winger James Forrest will not be fit in time to face Kilmarnock at Rugby Park tomorrow evening.

Forrest, 28, may be missing but one player the manager hopes to have back fit is stalwart Kris Ajer. "[Forrest] won't be available for tomorrow," he said. "But we are hoping for the weekend.

"Kristoffer Ajer and Mikey Johnston trained today so they're back in the squad."
