CRYSTAL PALACE have signed Dundee United youngster Scott Banks on a three-year deal, the club have announced.

But Palace have now secured a move for Banks, who will join up with the London club imminently.

Speaking to the club's website, sporting director Tony Asghar said: “It is clear that a move to an English Premier League club has proved very attractive for Scott, his family, and his representatives to turn down.
“I believe Scott has the ability to become a top talent in football and hope that he continues to develop to the level we believe he could have progressed to had he chosen to remain at Dundee United.”
