Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has been tipped to make it to the very top of world football by Thierry Henry.

Edouard has been terrific for the Hoops this season, netting 17 goals in 31 games for his club. He has also bagged 11 goals in just six matches for France under-21s.

That's why former Arsenal and Barcelona star Henry believes his countryman can make it big in the game if he continues on the upward trajectory he's on.

Rangers hero Ally McCoist revealed on talkSPORT that he'd been chatting with the France legend at a recent Premier League game. And Henry, 42, was singing Edouard's praises.

Coisty said: "The two best [in Scotland] in the forward areas are without doubt [Alfredo] Morelos and Edouard. There is absolutely no doubt about that.

"I spoke to Thierry Henry at the Liverpool vs Leicester City game and he really rates Edouard. He was saying in France in particular [he's rated] and he personally really, really thinks he's got a chance of going right to the top."

Edouard cost Celtic a princely £9million to sign from PSG but looks certain to repay the Hoops and then some when he does eventually move on.
