Rangers coach Michael Beale has been forced to address supporters who argued about the Ibrox side's tactics on social media following their 2-1 defeat to Hearts on Sunday.

Steven Gerrard's backroom staff member acknowledged the fans after being involved in the conversation by supporters seeking an answer to their question.

Some questioned Rangers' formations and claimed the Light Blues have not been playing with anyone in the more creative No 10 position. The discussion being that Gers have instead opted to play wingers as opposed to anyone in the attacking midfield slot.

Beale, though, was quick to respond to the fans. "I’ll answer this as I’m continuously copied in," he tweeted.

"We have played with two 10s in every game this season. They're free, like no10s in any system to overload certain areas. Systems are not as important as the players within them. We lost, didn’t perform & it hurts, we move on ASAP".

Supporters appeared pleased that Beale responded, thanking him for engaging. His comments racked up hundreds of likes and shares.
