GREENOCK MORTON have completed the signing of Partick Thistle defender Sean McGinty on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old Northern Irishman joined the Jags in the summer of 2018 and made 64 appearances in all competitions for the Maryhill club.
McGinty has moved to Cappielow as a free agent after the cente-back terminated his contract by mutual agreement earlier on Tuesday afternoon.
With defensive reinforcements in the shape of Darren Brownlie and Lee O'Connor brought in by Ian McCall this month, McGinty had slipped down the pecking order at Thistle and was allowed to leave without the club asking for a transfer fee.
A statement on Thistle's website read: "Sean leaves with the thanks of everyone at Partick Thistle and with our best wishes for his future in the game."
