BURNLEY striker Matej Vydra is set to clinch a deadline day deal with Rangers

Boss Steven Gerrard is keen to add to his attacking options for the second half of the campaign.

Rangers completed the signing of Ianis Hagi from Genk on Friday morning as he penned a loan deal until the end of the season.

A move for Florian Kamberi could also be clinched before the close of business as Rangers remain in talks with Hibernian.

And Vydra will now arrive at Ibrox to provide competition to Alfredo Morelos and Jermain Defoe this term.

The 27-year-old has considerable experience of the English game having turned out for Watford, West Brom, Derby and Reading in recent seasons.

Vydra has made just nine appearances for Burnley this term and will now head to Ibrox on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
