PARTICK THISTLE have completed the signing of Rangers defender Lewis Mayo on loan until the end of the season.

Thistle had previously registered their interest in bringing the centre-back to Firhill earlier this month but Filip Helander’s injury cast doubt over the deal.

But Rangers have now sanctioned the loan move that will see Mayo remain at Thistle for the remainder of the campaign, where he’ll join up with fellow loan Ranger Jamie Barjonas and former under-20s team-mate Zak Rudden.

More to follow.
