Sutton Celtic an Rangers should have targeted Boyce

Chris Sutton is “surprised” Celtic and Rangers did not target Hearts new boy Liam Boyce. The former Celtic striker told BT Sport he thought the Irishman would be a good option off the bench for either club. He said: "I like the signing of Boyce by Hearts. And do you know what? I am a little bit surprised that Celtic or Rangers didn’t go for him, because I think that he is a proven goalscorer, and he would have been a strong back-up.”

Filip Benkovic was eager to join Bristol City on loan from Leicester despite rumoured interest from former club Celtic. “I found out about interest from Bristol City a few weeks ago and I was really excited about that option,” he told Leicester Live. However, the Croatian says he “really enjoyed” his time in Glasgow and believes the experience has helped his development.
