Barry Ferguson reckons Rangers only have two players capable of changing games when things are not going their way.

The former Light Blues captain played in a Gers side full of stars ready to take any game by the scruff of its neck and turn one point into three on any given matchday.

But, watching Steven Gerrard's troops, Ferguson isn't convinced that the current crop of footballers do enough to emulate their top players in Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent.

"If you look at game-changers I think there's only two in the team," he told PLZ Soccer. "Morelos and Ryan Kent, when they're being closely marked it's up to others to go and step up to the mark.

"In terms of winning mentality, desire and hunger, you've got Steven Davis who has won trophies before and Allan McGregor. Tav [James Tavernier] as well to a certain point, because he's the captain you would expect him to be a leader in the dressing room.

"But I look at the rest of the squad and I don't really see it. That must be a concern to the manager."

Gers drew 0-0 with Aberdeen last weekend after losing to Hearts the previous Saturday, while rivals Celtic picked up six points from their two clashes against Hamilton and St Johnstone respectively.
