THE Celtic-supporting president of Albania has tweeted his delight at the latest victory for the champions.
Ilir Meta posted a series of tweets after the league leaders came from behind to defeat Hamilton Accies on Sunday.
The fanatical Celt, who before the game tweeted a picture of himself after purchasing the latest home kit, then posted two of the Celtic goals with the comments: “Congratulations @CelticFC on the fantastic away victory, especially for the overthrow of the result and the extraordinary character displayed throughout the match as a true champion!
“Come on you Bhoys in green. Hail Hail #CelticFC #HAMCEL #SPFL.”
Meta also pointed out the significance of the number two in Sunday’s win for Celtic: “The 2 scored and the 2nd goal was of our number 2,” he said, tagging Christopher Jullien into the tweet.
He added, also tagging in striker Odsonne Edouard: “Twenty-two goals this season for our number 22.
Unbelievable and incredible:

The president revealed his support for the Glasgow club in the summer of last year after being gifted a Celtic shirt by former Parkhead star Rudi Vata, also from Albania.
“This photo today is dedicated to the extraordinary @CelticFCs fans around the world,” he tweeted at the time.
“This shirt is a gift from my friend #RudiVata. After the meeting in Sarajevo I believe in: "Once you're a Celt you're always a Celt ... Hail Hail.”
Many Celtic fans have since tweeted their appreciation of the president’s support.
One Twitter user by the name of Mrs Broony wrote: “Still think it's mental the actual president of Albania tweets more about Celtic than he does about his own country. Hail hail ya radge.”
