Celtic fans echoed their manager's delight at full-time this afternoon as they managed a vital victory over Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

Kristoffer Ajer scored the winner in a 2-1 win for the Hoops after Callum McGregor had broken the deadlock and Ash Taylor had leveled.

The win, until around 5pm this evening, took Celtic 13 points clear of Rangers who themselves cut it back to 10 with a 1-0 win over Livingston at Ibrox a few short hours later.

Fans of the Bhoys, who made the long journey north early this morning, were buzzing with the victory - as were the majority of supporters who watched the game on TV.

One praised his side: "I don't know how we managed it but that's a huge three points." Another added: "Massive result, that's why we're champions."

One commented: "Rough viewing but three points is all that matters." One supporter wrote: "Yasssss! And breathe......#9INAR".

Frenchman Odsonne Edouard played a massive part in his side's winner with a cute backheel which started the move. But fans were talking about their talisman for an altogether different reason at full-time.

James Forrest had put the ball on a plate for his teammate in front of goal. But, rather than lift the ball over goalkeeper Joe Lewis who had been left sprawling, Edouard inexplicably hit his shot directly off the keeper from just two yards.

And with 24 goals in 39 appearances for Celtic this season, fans finally saw that their striker is human after all.

One said: "That's got to be miss of the season for Edouard." Another said: "Hahahahaha how has Edouard missed that".

One laughed: "Anytime anyone asks about Édouard, just show them that miss. That'll put off any potential suitors." A fourth wrote: "I cannot believe edouard missed that wtf".
