James Keatings' appeal against a yellow card for diving against Rangers Colts has been dismissed by the SFA - meaning he will miss the Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Cup final.
The former Hibs and Dundee United striker was deemed to have hit the deck too easily in search of a foul against the young Gers last weekend.
He was shown a second yellow and therefore sent-off by referee Greg Aitken in the semi-final. Caley Thistle lodged an official appeal after BBC Alba footage showed clear contact between himself and the Rangers defender.

However, the SFA have today confirmed the yellow card will stand.
Keatings' hearing had been fast-tracked but the outcome, from the SFA website was confirmed as "Dismissed - original sanction re-applied."
Inverness will play Raith Rovers in the final - without Keatings.
