MICAEL SEQUEIRA insists Braga won't fear another Europa League collapse when they face Rangers.

The Portuguese cruised into a 2-0 lead inside an hour at Ibrox last week thanks to goals from Fransergio and Abel Ruiz.

But Steven Gerrard's side will take a narrow one goal advantage into the second leg after a remarkable comeback that saw Ianis Hagi score twice either side of a sublime solo effort from Joe Aribo.

Braga caused Rangers plenty of problems in Glasgow and remain firm favourites to clinch a last 16 berth.

And assistant boss Sequeira is confident another shock isn't on the cards as Braga look to continue their impressive form.

Sequeira said: "The players have worked to avoid allowing that to happen. I believe it was a lesson to learn. We have practised to change what was widely done in the first match.

“We do believe the way that we work will mean things will be different in the second leg.

“Glasgow Rangers is a tough team. We do believe we will go through. Of course we have to amend some aspects that didn't go well in Glasgow.

“But we are working hard and have prepared as we should. The players will have to perform but I should highlight that the fans can play a major role.

“I know that the time is not the most continent and will be tough but I urge the supporters to come. The Rangers fans created a great impact on the first game and made a difference.

“I believe if the Braga fans do the same things can go in our favour. We will chase the win from the first minute of the match."
