Kris Ajer's agent has claimed the Celtic defender will LEAVE Parkhead this summer.

The Norwegian defender has been the subject of interest in recent months and has been linked with big-money moves away from Glasgow to the likes of Leicester City in the Premier League, AC Milan and Sevilla.

With his deal up in 2022, Neil Lennon might now be hoping to convince the stopper to pen an extension with the Hoops. But his agent, Tore Pedersen, claims his client will depart his current club when his contract expires.

And he says there will be no shortage of clubs lining up to sign the player. "He does not extend with Celtic and will leave this summer," Pedersen told Sporten.

"There are several clubs that are interested, but I can't go into names anymore. There are many who have followed him for a long period of time.

"There are also clubs who would like to have him, but who can't afford it. There is generally great interest in Kristoffer."

Ajer joined Celtic back in 2016 and has made 129 appearances, scoring five times.
