Rangers' clash in the Premiership against Celtic may have been cancelled over the coronavirus pandemic, but that didn't stop punters in Ayrshire getting their fill of the Old Firm atmosphere.

During a five-a-side match where fans of both sides shoved on their club colours, Rangers supporters watched from the sidelines with pyro and flares and cheered on their lads at The Boolers venue.

Gers anthem Simply The Best also blared out of speakers in a bid to gee-up those in Blue.

Footage shared on social media was viewed almost 200,000 times with fans of both Glasgow teams heaping praise on those involved for their support. Others were simply desperate to know the scoreline.

One fan laughed: "You love to see it," as another commented: "Just goes to show how far people are willing to go for football".

One person said: "Nae old firm Sundays, make yer own". A fourth added: "Hahaha that's class."
