NOBODY would hold it against former Rangers hitman Filip Sebo if he didn't look back on his time with the Glasgow club all that fondly.

After being signed from Austria Vienna for around £2million during Paul Le Guen's infamous spell in the Ibrox dugout, the Slovakian striker struggled to make an impact in front of goal.

A return of just two goals in 24 appearances for the Light Blues doesn't make for great reading for a forward, but Sebo insists that he loved his year in Govan. And he admits that his strike coming off the bench against Aberdeen was probably his greatest moment in a Gers jersey.

Speaking to the club's website, he said: "I had some good times in Scotland as a Rangers player. I would say the whole season was a nice memory and I feel really honoured to have been a part of this amazing club.

"The goal against Aberdeen was probably the biggest moment as it was really exciting to score at Ibrox to win the match. But every single minute on the pitch at Ibrox was special.

"I felt I received huge support from the best supporters in the world. If I was to sum up my time at Rangers, I would say it was like being at high school. I enjoyed it and I learned a lot."

Sebo added: "I still meet supporters whenever I am travelling and that is really cool. It's always nice to hear someone saying my name no matter where I am and hearing a friendly Scottish voice.

"Me and Rangers supporters will never forget each other because there was a really strong relationship between us in those days."
