DUNDEE UNITED striker Lawrence Shankland has taken to Twitter to plead with the public to stay indoors during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Scottish Government has issued repeated warnings to stay indoors, cut out all non-essential travel and keep social interaction to a minimum.
While the advice has been followed for the most part, there are some people who are still ignoring the government's advice by visiting friends and family.
And now Scotland internationalist Shankland has posted a tweet urging people to stay at home - in order to protect the NHS and the wider public.
‼️‼️ Self isolating and Social Distancing is to save lives and give the already stretched NHS the chance to save more! Stop being so naive.. this is to protect family members of everyone we know...waken up people it’s not too much to ask, please be sensible ‼️‼️
