PARTICK THISTLE have renewed their retail partnership agreement with Greaves Sports.

The deal will run for three years with an option to extend the partnership once the initial agreement runs out.

Thistle kits will be available to buy on Greaves' website and at their premises on Gordon Street in Glasgow city centre.

Earlier this week, the Firhill club revealed that Irish company O'Neills Sportswear will be the Jags' new kit supplier, replacing Joma.

Gerry Britton, Partick Thistle chief executive, said: “Everyone at the club is thrilled to welcome back Greaves Sports as Thistle’s retail partner, capping a very positive week for the club.

“Thistle have enjoyed a longstanding affiliation with Greaves Sports whose values as a family business are very much in line with our own. We have great confidence that Sandy, Miller and the team at Greaves will provide a first-class customer experience for our supporters, both online and, importantly, with their city centre presence.”

Miller Greaves, Director of Greaves Sports, said: “It’s brilliant news for Greaves Sports to be partnering with Partick Thistle once again given the genuine affection we have for the club and its supporters.

“Greaves Sports has a long history with the Jags, including with our good friend Alan Rough and the 1971 heroes, a certain medal-winning David McCallum who worked with us while playing in red and yellow and more recently through Alan Archibald, Ian McCall and others from the club being familiar faces to us.

“Most of all, we enjoy great relationships with many Thistle supporters; we very much look forward to welcoming them to our store and working with our friends at O’Neills to give all Jags fans the best possible experience.”
