SCOTLAND under-21 internationalist Fraser Hornby is set to complete a £1.8 million switch from Everton to Stade de Reims.
French newspaper L’Equipe have reported that the 20-year-old is in advanced talks with the Ligue 1 outfit and will join them when the summer transfer window opens.
Hornby, who spent the second half of last season on loan with Belgian side Kortrijk, scoring four goals in 14 appearances, is expected to sign a four-year contract.
Hornby joined Everton from Northampton Town in the summer of 2014 in a £65,000 deal.
He starred in the youth ranks before making his senior debut for the Toffees in a 3-0 Europa League victory against Apollon Limassol on December 7, 2017.
Hornby has been capped 13 times for Scotland’s under-21 side, scoring six goals, and is considered one of the national side’s brightest young attacking options.
