Celtic have lost promising midfielder Josh Adam to Manchester City, according to a report.
The youngster has been on the verge of signing at the Etihad for a while, now, but The Telegraph are reporting the deal has been completed.
Adam, 16, has been monitored by City as well as Bayern Munich in recent times where Liam Morrison recently signed and Barry Hepburn looks ready to leave for in the coming weeks.
Adam, though, opted for City and has reportedly agreed terms on a contract which starts as a scholarship until he turns 17 when he will then sign a professional deal.
We told recently how Celtic were left disappointed at losing Morrison to Munich among other kids who could leave early in their development. The Hoops almost had a similar issue with Daniel Kelly, however they managed to sign the 15-year-old up to a pre-professional contract following serious interest from Manchester United, Tottenham and Benfica.
