FORMER Celtic striker Chris Sutton believes that whether or not Alfredo Morelos remains at Ibrox for the upcoming campaign is Rangers' "million dollar question" this summer.

The Colombian forward has been regularly linked with a move away from Steven Gerrard's side after a blistering start to last season.

The 24-year-old had notched 29 goals going into the winter break but struggled to replicate his form in the second half of the campaign, failing to register a single top-flight goal in eight league outings in 2020.

Sutton reckons this inconsistency could harm Steven Gerrard's bid to deny Celtic 10-in-a-row - because the Ibrox club won't know what version of Morelos will turn up.

When asked on talkSPORT if he thought Morelos would stay at Rangers for another season, Sutton replied: "Oh, who knows?

"That's the million dollar question, will they go through another another season with Morelos?

"I would think Steven Gerrard will hope so - which Morelos are we going to see though?"
