RANGERS winger Jake Hastie could be set to return to Fir Park on a loan deal, according to reports.
The 21-year-old spent the first half of last season on loan at Rotherham in England's League One before being recalled in January, but failed to make a single league appearance for Steven Gerrard's side before the campaign was curtailed.
The Scottish Sun are reporting that Motherwell have entered discussions with the Ibrox club to arrange a season-long loan deal for Hastie, who came through the youth ranks in Lanarkshire before moving to Glasgow's south side last summer. At least one English club are also believed to be monitoring the winger's situation.
Hastie shot to prominence during the second half of the 2018/19 season, when he scored six goals in 12 league outings for Stephen Robinson's side.
