NEIL LENNON has told how Celtic had agreed a deal with Southampton to bring Fraser Forster back to Parkhead.
But the Hoops boss says Forster has now "gone quiet" about a possible return to Glasgow.
Speaking to Sky, Lennon said: "Well we are looking at other options.
"There was a deal agreed between both the clubs and it's gone quiet from the player's side of things.
"Like everything else, we would dearly love him back here.
"But if that's not the case then we'll look elsewhere.
"We're looking at a number of options in the goalkeeping front, it's such an important position.
"Fraser did wonderful things for us last season and he's got big gloves to fill."
Joe Hart and David Marshall have been linked with moves to Celtic, while AEK Athens keeper Vasilis Barkas is also said to be being monitored by the Hoops.
