MOTHERWELL midfielder David Turnbull could be on his way to the English Championship with Stoke City reportedly interested in securing the 20-year-old's signature.
The centre mid saw a £3m move to Parkhead fall though at the last minute last summer, when a knee issue was discovered during his medical.
The Fir Park youth product had to undergo preventative surgery and was missing for the majority of the previous campaign, but got a handful of first-team appearances before the coronavirus crisis caused the season to be called.
Celtic are still said to be monitoring the midfielder's situation but they could find stiff competition, with Stoke City apparently keen on the youngster.
The Daily Record believe that Michael O'Neill is a big fan of Turnbull and that the former Nothern Ireland boss is mulling over a bid, with Premier League outfit Newcastle United also said to be keen.
