ST JOHNSTONE are set to complete the signing of Craig Conway before Saturday’s Scottish Premiership opener against Dundee United.
The former Tannadice, Blackburn and Cardiff City winger impressed on trial with the Perth club after his release from Salford City this summer.
And he will now pen a deal at McDiarmid Park as Callum Davidson looks to add some experience to his youthful squad.
Saturday’s Premiership opener could see Conway feature on familiar territory at a club where he famously won the Scottish Cup in 2010.
Perth boss Davidson was keen to add the winger after the recent departures of Danny Swanson, Matty Kennedy and Drey Wright.
