Napoli have confirmed the signing of Lille striker Victor Osimhen - paving the way for Alfredo Morelos' move from Rangers.
Lille had been waiting on a bid from the Serie A giants for their star man and the deal - worth believed to be around €70million, or £63million - was finally completed and confirmed this afternoon.
Osimhen scored 18 goals for Ligue 1 outfit Lille in 38 appearances last season and was a wanted man this summer. Now it is understood the French club are willing to splash some of the cash on Gers star Morelos following an initial bid being booted out by the Glasgow side last week.

We told earlier how Light Blues manager Steven Gerrard revealed Morelos would travel to Aberdeen tomorrow with the Colombian the only fit and recognised striker at the club right now. Jermain Defoe picked up a knock recently and will be unavailable.
And Gerrard went on to explain that until Lille cough up a reasonable offer, believed to be in the region of around £17million, Morelos would remain a Ranger. "Alfredo will travel up to Aberdeen with us," the manager said. "In terms of the starting eleven and squad I will decide this after today's session. I've had some detailed chats with Alfredo this week. He tells me he's ready, he looks ready.
"If there's a bid that's big enough that the board want to accept, we'll make that decision as and when it comes. At the moment we are nowhere near that."
