Celtic have wished Kieran Tierney the best of luck as he prepares to step out for Arsenal in the FA Cup final.

The former Hoops left-back should start for the Gunners this afternoon against Chelsea to mark the end of his first season at the club.

Posting on social media, Celtic shared their message of support for one of their own.

“Best of luck to the Bhoy, @kierantierney1 in today’s #FACupFinal,” the club wrote.

Fans of the Glasgow giants also jumped in with their own messages for Tierney. One said: “All the Best KT. Great servant and brought a lot of money into the club!!”

Another added: “I support this message,” and a third commented: “The kid was an absolute steal for @Arsenal wouldn’t be surprised if he was made captain next season, could go on to be their captain for next 10 years. Great player with a great attitude.”

Tierney joined Arsenal for a record-breaking £25million. He has struggled with injury in the early part of the season after suffering with a thigh problem and a hip issue.

However he has since established himself as first-choice left-back and is expected to play from the start for Mikel Arteta’s men.
