MICHAEL STEWART has slammed Boli Bolingoli after the Celtic defender broke strict quarantine rules by travelling to Spain last week.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has stopped short of halting the season following the incident but she has told that Celtic and Aberdeen should not expect to play over the next week.

Commenting on Twitter, pundit Stewart hit out at the actions of the Belgian.

He wrote: "The actions of Boli Bolingoli really beggars belief.

"He’s put the safety of so many in jeopardy, not to mention the football season as a whole.

"This isn’t simply stupidity this is an absolute disgraceful disregard of some many by one individual."
