Kieran Tierney has always had 'ridiculous talent and dedication', according to former Celtic kid Colin McCabe.
The former Hoops goalkeeper spent time on trial with the champions back when both players were sprightly young teens and he played with the now FA Cup-winning defender who cost Arsenal £25million.
He could tell even back then, in 2013, that KT had the ability to make it big as a player at both Celts and then, down the line, wherever he opted to go. And McCabe praised the left-back for always having the same desire to succeed.
"The first time I saw him was the Hibernia Cup in Dublin," McCabe told the Irish Sun. "I was on trial with Celtic and you could see he had something about him.
“His attitude and dedication were spot on and he had ridiculous talent to go with it. He always had a smile on his face and was always willing to do the extra bit. Arsenal is my club so I’m happy for him.”
Irishman McCabe, 23, spent years at Parkhead after joining at just 16-years-old. He now plays for Shelbourne in the League of Ireland's Premier Division.
