Aaron Hickey has NOT completed a five-year deal to join Bayern Munich, Herald and Times Sport understands.
Reports in Germany claim the Hearts left-back has agreed a switch to the Allianz Arena this week after taking in the training facilities and surroundings last month.
However, we understand any potential move to Munich is still some way off and he has certainly not agreed any contract at this time.
Hickey has been on the radar of Bologna, Lyon, Aston Villa and Lazio with Celtic and Manchester City both also keen on the defender. He made his Hearts first-team debut against Aberdeen in May 2019 before making his first start for the club a week later against Celtic at Parkhead.
He has since gone on to make over 30 appearances for the Gorgie outfit. We told recently how Craig Levein claimed Celtic made 'five or six bids' to sign the player during his time as boss at Tynecastle.
