RANGERS
McLaughlin 6: Solid when called upon, which was not very often.
Tavernier 7: Got forward when he could and his set-pieces were always a threat. Had a hand in second goal.
Goldson 7: Always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Read the game well and handled the speedy Brophy and then Kabamba.
Helander 6: Should have done better with a headed chance in first-half but rarely troubled defensively.
Barisic 7: Deliveries were tough to deal with throughout the 90 minutes. Didn't have too much defending to do and provided assist for opener.
Jack 6: Allowed to venture forward more often with Davis sitting deeper beside him. Had a few shots from distance but unable to find killer pass.
Davis 6: Did well against the tough-tackling Dicker and Power. Preferred to Glen Kamara from the start and seems a good partner for Jack. Subbed.
Barker 7: Caused endless issues for defenders with his pace but decision-making let him down at times.
Kent 8: So difficult to defend against. Always a willing runner and caused problems for Killie's defence all afternoon. Should have scored in first-half but made no mistake in second.
Roofe 7: Still working towards full match fitness and partnership with Itten needs some work. Opened his scoring account with clever finish.
Itten 6: Had a golden chance to score his first Rangers goal but blazed effort over. Perhaps should have won more headers in the box against a smaller Waters. Booked.
Subs:
Arfield 4: Not troubled after coming on and continued the hard work done by Davis.
Kamara 4: Kept the midfield quiet.
Hagi 3: N/A
Stewart 3: N/A
Patterson 3: N/A
KILMARNOCK
Rogers 6: Made a number of saves in the first-half, including one brilliant parry from a Ryan Kent strike.
McGowan 6: Had a hard time preventing Barisic from getting crosses in and kept on his toes by Gers' marauding forward players who kept swapping sides.
Broadfoot 6: Won a lot of headers for his side but should have done better with a chance from a corner at 0-0.
Findlay 6: Did well in the aerial duel with Cedric Itten but could do nothing about either goal.
Waters 7: Was seemingly pin-pointed as an area for Gers to exploit but stood up very well to every ball pumped into the box.
Power 6: Did a lot of running but unable to create much and beaten to the punch by the likes of Davis and Jack on a number of occasions.
Dicker 5: Didn't stamp his authority on the game as he often likes to do and subbed in second-half.
Tshibola 5: Should have offered his team more of an out-ball when they looked to attack but posted missing when Killie wanted to counter.
Haunstrup 5: Offered little in the way of attacking and allowed teammates to do dirty work beside him.
Burke 6: Would have liked to have got forward more often but had his hands full doing his defensive duties.
Brophy 6: Had a thankless task up front on his own and isolated until brought off.
Subs:
Kabamba 4: Offered little after replacing Brophy. Didn't get any service.
Kiltie 3: N/A
Pinnock 3: N/A
