KEMAR ROOFE admits it has been easy to settle into the Rangers attack after marking his first start with a goal against Kilmarnock.

The forward replaced Alfredo Morelos in Steven Gerrard’s starting line-up and produced an accomplished showing as he continues to get up to speed at Ibrox.

Roofe opened the scoring early in the second half before Ryan Kent clinched the points for the Light Blues.

And the former Anderlecht star is pleased with his first few weeks at Ibrox following a crucial Premiership victory.

Roofe said: "My first start was good and the most important thing was that we won and got the three points.

“Scoring a goal was a bonus. Getting the minutes was good and it was important to get my fitness up too.

"I am just taking it game by game and see how long I last. There's a high intensity to our game.

"I'm playing with about four very, very creative players so it's a joy to play with this team.

“We play with non-stop movement and the combinations between us are good.

"Yeah, it's been very easy for me [to fit in]. It comes down to the dressing room and the staff. I've been made to feel so welcome and I feel like I have been here for a long time."
