Celtic's Boli Bolingoli has posted a defiant social media message following the completion of his loan deal at Istanbul Besaksahir.
The defender was shipped out by the Parkhead club after he broke strict quarantine rules with a trip to Spain despite keeping it to himself. He then played from the bench against Kilmarnock and left boss Neil Lennon and the Celtic hierarchy absolutely furious over his actions.
It appears he may have kicked his last ball for Celts, with a permanent transfer clause inserted into his Turkish loan, but the left-back was clear in his message that he is ready for a new challenge - and he admits facing tough times following the protocol blunder.
Sharing bizarre footage from his medical and behind the scenes of his switch, the Belgian wrote: "When you face difficult times, know that challenges are not sent to destroy you..they’re sent to promote, increase and strengthen you.. time for new challenge".
The clip racked up more than 14,000 views in less than 24 hours.
AS Roma, Amiens and West Brom were all credited with an interest in Bolingoli before he opted for Istanbul.
