The extent of Ryan Jack's injury that he picked up against Dundee United at the weekend is still to be revealed - but former Ibrox star Neil McCann is expecting the worst.
The Scotland international limped off after just ten minutes as the Light Blues thumped United 4-0 at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard confirmed after the game that Jack had sustained a calf injury and he would have to get a scan to reveal the extent of the damage.
Speaking to the BBC, McCann explained: “I think Ryan Jack is a concern because he just sat down on the field very early into the match.
“Those little calf injuries can be really troublesome.
"I’ve had many myself and you think they’re okay, then you just get that little nip and you think – that’s it gone. So, that’s a concern for Ryan Jack.”
