Ryan Jack is facing a fitness sweat for the first Celtic derby this season after pulling out of Rangers' Europa League squad.

Jack,Leon Balogun and Brandon Barker have been left out for their trip to Lincoln Red Imps.

The squad initially included the trio who all pulled up injured at Ibrox on Saturday against Dundee United.

Now, however, manager Steven Gerrard has made a handful of changes and left out the injured trio, opting to include goalkeeper Andy Firth and winger Jordan Jones.

And he confirmed Jack will miss 'a few weeks' with injury, which could see the Old Firm derby come too soon on October 17.

We told how Alfredo Morelos was also brought to Gibraltar despite going off on a stretcher last weekend following an ugly looking challenge by Ryan Edwards which left the Colombian with a gash above his knee.

And it is likely Morelos will feature at some stage against the Imps tomorrow evening.
