It remains 4 out of 4 for Scottish sides in Europe with each Scottish side contributing to the overall coefficient so far.

But while Celtic have tasted defeat in Europe, Scottish clubs are still racking up coefficient points and pulling the nation up the table, ever closer to automatic qualification. 

Aberdeen are leading the way for Scotland so far in Europe for Scotland picking up the maximum amount of coefficient appoints available.

Both Aberdeen, Motherwell and Celtic have played 2 games in Europe this season. However, only Aberdeen has won each game in 90 minutes. 

Rangers have played one match fewer but steamrolled over Lincoln Red Imps as they dished out a 5-0 Europa League drubbing.

The win meant that all 3 Scottish sides in action picked up points last night.

Rangers and Aberdeen picked 1.5 coefficient points for their wins, with Motherwell only picking up 1 point for their qualification because they had to rely on extra time and penalties.  

Celtic have picked up 1.5 for their first win the Champions League qualifiers and a 0.5 for qualifying to the Europa League third qualifying round.
