RANGERS could face a European shoot-out clash with Tottenham next month after the pots for the Europa League play-off round were confirmed.

Steven Gerrard's side booked their place in the third round with a 5-0 win over Lincoln Red Imps on Thursday night.

The Gers will now take on Dutch outfit Willem II next week as they look to move within 90 minutes of a third successive group stage appearance.

The draw for the final qualification round will take place in Nyon this afternoon and UEFA have confirmed that Rangers, who are unseeded, have been placed in Group 4.

And that could see them handed a glamour Battle of Britain tie with Spurs if Jose Mourinho's side can overcome Shkendija in the next round.

Turkish giants Galatasaray could also lie in wait as they prepare to face Hadjuk Split for a place in the play-offs, while APOEL and Bosnian side Zrinjski are also possible opponents for Gerrard's side.

The final seeded tie in Group 4 is between Standard Liege and Vojvodina as Rangers get an insight into what could lie ahead as they look to continue their European journey this term.
