Rangers have been handed a triple injury boost with Leon Balogun, Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos expected to be fit for Sunday's Hibs clash.

Balogun was set to play from the start against Dundee United last weekend but pulled up in the warmup. Morelos was stretchered off after coming on as a substitute but did appear - and score - against Lincoln Red Imps yesterday evening.

Roofe hobbled off in Gibraltar. But manager Steven Gerrard has provided an injury update for supporters and expects the three to be available this weekend.

He said: "Alfredo’s fine. He’s still got stitches in his knee but he played last night and would be available.

"On the back of last night we’re very confident that Kemar will pull through. We think he’s got that really early. He’s got a bit of tightness but he’s been really sensible with it. I said to the players, on that surface, not to be taking any risks so he’s done the right thing We’re confident on Kemar.

“Just got an update on Leon Balogun and he’ll clear with the physios today and be available as well.

“Jack, Aribo and Barker are progressing well but won’t be with us for the weekend.”
