Neil Lennon has reiterated that Celtic do not want to sell Kris Ajer amid interest from AC Milan.

The Italian giants have been credited with an interest in the Norwegian all summer and could still make a move for the player despite recently claiming he was not their top target. To that end. Lennon confirmed there had been no offers for the defender and he hopes things stay that way.

The Hoops boss also revealed he had spoken with his player who is enjoying his football at Parkhead. And he offered any support he may need as speculation ramps up - which could act as a potential distraction to the star.

"He's very focused and will start tomorrow," Lennon said ahead of the Europa League clash with Riga. "He's looking forward to the game. You can't control speculation, like I've said as always, there's been no concrete offers or confirmation of anything and we don't want to sell him.

"He's in a good place mentally, I've spoken to him on it yesterday and I'm there as a support for him which sometimes can be a very distracting situation he finds himself in, so he's getting all the support he can from myself, my backroom staff and his teammates."
