AARON HICKEY became the fifth Scottish player to make his debut in Serie A last night, as Bologna ran out 4-1 winners over rivals Parma.
The former Hearts left-back was handed his first appearance for his new club by manager Sinisa Mihajlovic and played 80 minutes before being replaced by Stefano Denswil.
Hickey put in assured display in his first game on Italian soil, leading his manager to single him out for praise after the full-time whistle.
🗣️ #Mihajlovic: "Hickey has both personality and quality, he has a great future ahead of him. He’s lively and is learning aleady."
